Some pics of game prep for pending ACW battle (Stones River 1862) using Field of Battle.

(Youngest daughter already saying that she can do better than my painted on rivers...challenge accepted!)

  2. Cheers Mate.
She claims that she can improve the river detail - of course, she is charging me for the privilege *sigh*

    1. Yes thanks mate. Sent you an email by the way.
This is another Field of Battle game - with the ranges as shorter battalion smoothbore equivalent - because the units are brigades. Ordinarily ranges would be different for ACW Regts and it would be a smaller game - but I want to try and 'proof' a larger corps/army sized game with brigades as maneuver element with FoB.

  4. Looking foward to it. FOB scales up from default Bttn level without problems in my experience

The rivers may have been 'improved' by then... :)

    1. Thanks George - more to come soon. Seeing the battlefield for real sounds superb. I probably don't have enough wooded areas to do it justice though.
