Little Wars TV - The Marengo Campaign

It's the end of the season for 'Little Wars TV'.

Very glad that Steve over at Sound Officers' Call advertised these guys and their shows.
Marengo is the game that ends Season 1 - and it's not just Marengo, it's the whole campaign with 7 players, and using Russ Lockwood's seminal Napoleonic rules - Snappy Nappy.

I'm no big Napoleonics expert, but this was superb, setting the battle and campaign in context for me. What a show.

I've watched all the episodes that these guys have produced, and there's never been a dull moment. Treat yourself to this one.

Can't wait for season 2.

    1. It was a great finale to the season. It's rare to see complete campaigns like that - so epic in scope, and cavalry being used to scout complete regions/tables.
Also impressed with the written orders and fog of war; it had everything.
The guys put a lot of work into it. Great to watch.
Look forward to you and Alex doing something similar - perhaps 'Holiday in Krasnovia'? ;)

  2. They did a great job with the scenario and the video, and had a great game with "only" 7 players and 5 tables. AS you might recall, our group has done quite a few of these, and they are a real eye opener.

The accounts of the seven that we have run are on my blog:

If the new Venue in Lancaster works out, I might do another one of these at Historicon in 2020.
